In John 4, Jesus's encounter with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well reveals how God often visits us in unexpected ways. This divine appointment was strategically planned, yet many miss God's visitation because it doesn't match their expectations. Jesus chose to reveal Himself as Messiah to a social outcast rather than through religious leaders, demonstrating God's heart for the broken. The fields are white for harvest now, but we can miss participating in this harvest due to daily concerns, cultural expectations, sin, or selective obedience to Scripture. When we truly encounter Jesus and surrender completely, our transformation can lead to regional revival.
